Early Snorkel

As the alarm went off at 05:30 I knew it was a really silly idea... this was confirmed as I put my wet cold wetsuit on in the public toilets at Lulworth Cove. As I stepped into the cold October water at 06:30 I thought about how I could still be tucked up in bed... but as we got out of the harbour and watched the sun rise, I realised how wrong I had been - this was fantastic!!

Spent about 2.5hrs going in and out of caves - quite a swell which affected some, but the sun and lack of breeze made it a truely beautiful morning. Can't wait till the kids are a little older to join this sort of trip. Maybe next year!

For the rest of the day... and QUITE an adventure, please see our salcombe flying blog.

always worth getting up early for the sun rise, although it can be a bit of a struggle getting up (and risking waking the whole house up)
